We have had several requests now for further information on what we consider to be an acceptable trade to use in bartering for our services here at the Healing Arts Center. Our answer is always the same. We are willing to exchange our services for something that has meaningful purpose. That definition is ambiguous at best, we realize. However, what is valuable to one person may mean nothing to another. Yet, what seems meaningless to one may be highly valuable to someone else. If you have something or can do something that may be meaningful and purposeful that we can put to use here at the Center, we may be able to work an arrangement out.
If you haven't enjoyed any of our Healing work or training, you may not have a way to know what kind of value we place upon our services. If this is the case, look at our fee schedule. Even though it is based on the monetary system, it is reflective of the time, energies, and training required to fulfill each service. It is also a reflection of just how important we feel the service is, as well as being a measure of how Life changing and/or Supporting we feel the service is to the recipient. Keep in mind that we do try to help those who come to us as best we can, keeping in mind that we, too, have requirements for living and operating the Center and Foundation. Helping others as best we can is the reasoning behind the One Heart Mission Program (sliding fee scale). As we have indicated, though, we are not only open for exchanging through the monetary system, but we are also open to bartering. Not everything in Life has to have a “fair market value”, especially in the world of Spirit and energies. This is how we view our bartering arrangements.
If you are considering our services and you want to barter for them, contact us with what you have to exchange. There is no limit to the number of ideas that we would entertain, and there certainly is no harm in inquiring.
