Archangel Gabriel on the Gift of Freedom

Archangel Gabriel gives us a short, but pointed message on the Gift of Freedom today. What is true Freedom? What are the Illusions of Freedom that we live with daily? Gabriel offers guidance on these questions and more.
Transcript:
“Yes, then, it is I, the Archangel Gabriel,
and I would speak to you once again during this Season of Peace celebration, this time on the gift of Freedom.
And I say to you this: Freedom is not what it appears to be,
particularly when one is considering Illusion,
the Gift of Illusion and the Dimension of Duality.
And I say to you that the only way you will ever know your own Freedom,
or Freedom collectively,
is through the Heart.
It is through Peace.
It is through Truth.
You must see your way through Illusion in order to find true Freedom.
But what is that Freedom?
And I say to you this: Freedom is a state of being in which nothing,
and no one,
prevents you
from experiencing your state of Grace.
Freedom allows you to fulfill your Purpose.
Anything that inhibits that Purpose,
and the fulfillment thereof,
is not true Freedom.
Freedom is a state of being content,
of being Joyous,
of being Peaceful.
Anything that inhibits your full experience and expression of the gifts of Life is not Freedom.
Now, in your world of politics,
you define Freedom differently.
The right to vote, the right to do as you please, within laws, and so on and so on. And I say to you, this is not Freedom. That is the Illusion of Freedom.
Those are simply agreed upon rules that you are all playing by, and they make you content
in the sense that you are adhering to societal expectations.
But that is not Freedom, and it is not even true contentment.
How many of you are discontented even while you are following the laws?
If the laws, for example, prevent you from collecting rainwater,
or using the wind to power your homes,
is that Freedom?
No.
Who owns the wind? Who owns the rain?
No one.
These things belong to Mother Earth herself. They are nature. They are part of Life.
If someone told you you had to pay to breathe the air, would you consider that to be Freedom?
No.
You see, all of this control that is there, that inhibits true Freedom,
is but part of the Illusion
that is governing your realm right now.
And it is up to you to change it. You already have the Freedoms.
You are Free to live Life,
as Life is meant to be lived, each and every one of you.
And only when you stand up and collect that right to yourself
will you experience
the real Freedom that you were born with.
Each of you comes into Life completely Free.
And only as you adhere to your societal paradigms and confinements do you lose those Freedoms.
But Freedom does not mean you have the Free rein over another being.
It does not mean that you can go through Life stomping on other people, so to speak,
and taking their rights away from them.
You are only Free to live within your own rights,
to live within your own Purpose, and to fulfill it.
You are Free to experience your own contentment and express it
as the beautiful being of Light that you are.
And I say to you anything that inhibits your Freedoms,
that have been given to you by Life itself,
is but an Illusion, and you should turn away from it
and no longer accept it.
It is a time when you can refuse the Illusions that are presented to you daily.
They are presented to you every moment.
And every moment you have the right to choose. Will I live freely or will I not?
Will you subscribe to the theories of evolution as far as Illusion goes?
And there is an evolution to the Illusions.
I do not speak of Darwin’s theory of evolution, but the evolution
of the Illusions that you live under.
Even one hundred years ago, Life was much more simple, and the Illusions were very few, comparatively speaking.
Today, there is Illusion at every corner. There is Illusion at every blink of your eye and breath that you take. And only when you are willing to see through those Illusions will you find the true Freedom that you were born with.
And once you have that Freedom, what do you do with it?
And I say to you this: You fulfill your Purpose for being. And in so doing, you will find your greatest Love, and your greatest Joy, and so on and so on, and as you share that, others will also add to your Joy as you add to theirs.
That is Freedom.
Free to be who and what you are, with no restrictions, no confinements, no inhibitions.
You cannot hold yourself back from true Freedom, either.
And so you see, finding your way through Illusion
is the only way you will ever find your real Freedom.
And only you can do this, for only you can claim it.
You will know what your Freedoms are by listening to your Heart. It will guide you well.
But for the time being, you must make choices, and you must begin somewhere. Again, introspection is good. Every day, take a look at yourself. Look at your day. Look at your choices. Begin to build your Freedom in this fashion.
And always let your Heart guide you toward moving into, and furthering, your Purpose.
I believe you all Understand my words at this time,
and so I will leave you with these simple thoughts,
and with my Love, and my support for your Freedom.
Do not give it up.
It is a time when you need your Freedoms, in many respects.
Consider my words carefully.
Be well, beloved ones, and choose wisely.
That is all for this time.
