Archangel Michael shares a beautiful and moving message on the Gift of Understanding. He explains how to use and see Understanding as not only a tool, but a gift of Life. How do you Understand in a world of Illusion? Why is Understanding so very important in making the right choices in Life?
Transcript:
“Yes, then it is I, the Archangel Michael.
I would speak to you at this time of the Gift of Understanding.
Understanding, in the scope of Illusion,
is a many faceted gift, and it is a many faceted task.
There are many who will choose whether they wish to Understand or not, and unfortunately, that does not excuse them from the repercussions brought about by their actions.
You see, it is up to each and every one of you to make the effort that is necessary to Understand the world around you, to Understand the choices that you make, to Understand the Illusions that are presented to you daily.
It is up to you to Understand what is Illusion and what is not. It is up to you to Understand
the ramifications
of every
choice
you make.
You are responsible for your actions. You are responsible for your Understanding, or lack thereof.
There is a saying: You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink. And the same is true of Understanding.
We can provide knowledge. Knowledge can come from many places, from many sources. But it is up to each of you individually to Understand the knowledge that is presented.
Now, this being said, I must also say
that Understanding is different for each and every person.
Just as many artists can gather around an apple sitting on a table and each artist will have a different picture.
The same is true of Understanding. Each of you has a different Understanding of the world around you. Each of you has a different Understanding of right and wrong,
Truth and non-Truth,
and so on and so on.
However, I say to you this: When it comes to Love,
when it comes to Illusion,
there is only one Truth, therefore there is only one Understanding, and that is Love.
True Love, real Love, is unconditional
with no limits, no boundaries, and no definitions.
Love is beyond definition.
It is not a thing.
It is not a person.
It is not a place.
It cannot be defined.
It simply is.
It is Love.
And in its infinite nature,
it is boundless.
You cannot confine it.
You cannot confine it with words, with ideas, with any form of limitation
or boundary, confines. It is impossible.
Now, what does this mean in the scope of Understanding? And what is means is this:
You do not define Truth.
You do not define Love with your mind.
You see Love with your Heart.
You recognize Love with your Heart, and you Understand Love with your Heart, and your Heart only, for Love speaks a language which the mind cannot Understand,
and yet is is possible to train the mind to follow the Heart.
But there are some things the mind will never be able to comprehend, because they can only be perceived, received, and experienced and expressed
through the Heart.
And so you see, when you seek Understanding in the world around you, you must not look with your eyes, the eyes of the mind, you must look with the eyes of the Heart.
You must seek out the Love within
each and every situation.
(sigh)
In every Illusion, there is Love.
In every Illusion there is Truth.
It is up to you to find the Truth, which is the Love, and to Understand it. You must Understand it before you can act upon it. You must Understand it before you can make choices based upon it.
And so you see, Understanding then becomes a great and important tool
in your own evolution,
in your daily Life. In every interaction that you have, you must Understand.
And not only must you Understand yourself and your own choices, your own situations, your own Illusions and opportunities presented to you,
you must Understand the same of every being of Life with whom you interact.
You must Understand your neighbor’s actions and their Truth, and their Love. If you are to truly interact properly,
in accordance with all universal laws,
then you not only Understand yourself, but you Understand the person or being of Life with whom you are interacting.
This is where empathy comes into play. This is where real Understanding comes, because, you see, you cannot Understand another if you cannot empathize with the other,
If you cannot put yourself in their shoes, so to speak, then you cannot Understand them, and if you cannot Understand them, then you cannot truly interact with them.
You are still operating under the auspices of Illusion.
It is a Oneness. True Understanding between two beings of Life is Oneness.
It is Love.
When you can interact with another being of Life from the perspective of Love,
you Understand them, they Understand you, and you each Understand yourselves,
then,
and only then,
are you truly interacting as the interaction was meant to be.
It is all about Love.
It is all about Understanding.
What do you Understand?
Only through Understanding can you grasp the meaning
of what is being offered to you in the way of sharing.
It all comes down to Love.
And there you must Understand.
Now, keep in mind you are dealing with Illusion, so sometimes Love is buried in Illusion.
And you truly have to dig, so to speak,
to find the real Love within,
because sometimes the Illusion is so great
that you cannot see past the anger,
the hurt,
the fear,
and so on,
to see what the Truth is, nor can the other person.
And that is where empathy comes into play, and compassion, because you can help your fellow being of Life,
no matter what form they are in,
you can help them to see their own Truth You can help them to Understand their Truth.
Sometimes this comes from serving as a mirror, so to speak. But other times it comes through gentle persuasion,
helping them to see,
letting them see through your eyes.
There are times when a person cannot Understand his or her own Truth because they cannot see their own inner beauty,
their own Love,
the Love that they are.
And sometimes we can step in and assist. You can step in and assist, by helping that person see themselves they way you see them.
And if you look for the Love within them,
then you will offer a true reflection for them.
You can serve as the eyes of their own Heart
where they may not be able to see.
Again, this is Understanding.
It is compassion.
It is Love.
What is the point of being in Life if you have no empathy and compassion?
What is the point?
Is it self serving greed?
No.
Do you know why greed never stops?
It is because it is an Illusion
and it is not based on Love.
It is insatiable because it cannot be met with Love,
because greed is not open to receiving Love.
And those who subscribe to the theories of greed
will never
be content.
Never.
It is a curse.
They do not see it.
But it is a curse. And it is one which they have placed upon themselves.
(sigh)
So as we speak of Understanding,
and we speak of Illusion, remember these things.
Blessed are you
who can see happiness
in every day’s activities.
Blessed are you who can see Love
where others cannot.
And when you can see Love and happiness, you will find contentment and Peace,
for you will have found the Truth of the Universe within.
And as you share that Universe within with others, who have also found their Peace and contentment inside;
they have found the Truth of Love;
they have looked through the Illusions;
and you have looked through the Illusions,
beyond the mists of times of Illusion,
shall you find the Love and Peace of true Life.
This is a great Understanding.
And you must reach for it within,
and hold onto it
with all that you are.
It is your guiding Light.
Look for it.
Embrace it.
Live it.
And share it.
Understanding
is Love.
Think of my words,
and think carefully.
You will Understand,
and you will wake.
And you will wake to a future
that contains only Peace.
