The Institute for Responsible Technology is holding a free screening through this Friday, November 8. If you haven't watched this film, please do. If you've already seen it, please share it. Educating people about the serious health and agricultural dangers of genetically modified (engineered) foods and crops is imperative for the future health of every being on our planet. This Truth cannot be understated!

It's our world. We don't have to give it to Monsanto or anyone else!

Water....a Commodity or a Right of Life?

Do you think water should be a commodity or a right of Life? We feel it is without a doubt a right of Life that should be Freely available to every living being. However, the CEO of Nestle, Peter Brabeck, thinks otherwise. Evidently, this man thinks that water should not be a right, but a commodity sold to the highest bidder. In his opinion, water should be privatized and have a market value. In the interview shown in the video below, Mr. Brabeck goes on to say that the idea of every human being having the right to water is "extreme". Obviously, we disagree.

Water has no price. It is not the place of man to put a price or controls on water. It is not something created by man. It is something given to us by nature - the very nature that Mr. Brabeck says is out of Balance. We do agree that nature is out of Balance, but it is so by the hand of man. It is not the place of man to attempt to Balance nature, except to clean up the imbalances man has created. Mother Earth will do the rest, but that is another story.

If you agree that water is a right of all Life, and should not be privatized and turned into a controlled commodity, we encourage you to let Nestle know. You can call them, email them, or simply boycott their products. As Peter Brabeck is guiding the "ship" of the Nestle organization, perhaps he needs to learn that the real responsibility of any leader is to the people and Life itself - and not to profits. Profits come after Life. Water is necessary for Life. That is why water was already present when all Life came to be.

As an added note for those of you who watch this video and either live outside the U.S. or are unaware of the negative health repercussions of GMOs, we have an Insight to share with you. GMOs have been present in the American foodstream for humans and animals alike for 15 years, as Peter Brabeck states in this interview. However, there have been many, many documented cases of serious health issues that have arisen from the use of GMOs in foods - both with humans and animals.

We have put up a number of posts here regarding the health issues associated with GMOs. You can review them by searching with the "GMO" tags on this blog area, as well as the Healing Arts Center blog area. What these various videos, interviews, and movies teach us is that GMOs in humans cause a myriad of health problems, including cancer and tumors. In animals, GMO feeds result not only in health troubles, but also in infertility. Mr. Brabeck is sorely mistaken in saying that there has never been one case of illness caused by human consumption of GMO foods in America. That simply is not true.

Congratulations to the People of Bolivia....

We would like to congratulate the people and the government of Bolivia in their recent banning of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in their country. In Bolivia, GMOs can neither be grown or imported. This measure has been enacted under Bolivia's "Mother Earth Law", and is an inspirational move demonstrating true commitment to the people and the land. It is a wise government and people who see that the greatest wealth any country can ever have is that of its people and its land. When the land is stewarded in a healthy and natural state, it will always Support its people with Life.

Bolivia established their "Mother Earth Law" in 2010. Ecuador also has a similar law that was included in their constitution when it was re-written in 2007-2008. This law is entitled "The Rights of Nature". We have learned that Turkey, Costa Rica, and other nations may also be considering similar laws of Protection for Mother Earth. We commend the people of these countries and their governments for having the courage and the commitment to enact these Protections for Mother Earth and all future generations who share Life with her!

Congratulations to San Juan County, Washington....

We'd like to extend our congratulations to San Juan County in Washington in passing a ban on the growing of genetically engineered (GMO) plants on their lands. We give our thanks to the residents and county government there for showing the way for the rest of the U.S. to follow! Well done!

For those of you who have been following the process of Prop. 37 - the proposition to label GMO foods - in California, you might be surprised to learn that Prop. 37 may NOT have failed as reported by the media. Evidently California precincts are still counting votes, so a clear pass or fail of this proposition is not established yet. According to the media, Prop. 37 failed by approximately half a million votes. However, a number of sources close to this legislation have learned that, as of yesterday, more than 3 million votes were yet to be counted. This leaves plenty of room for Prop. 37 to still pass into law!

There is also pending legal investigation into the actions of the "No to 37" team for a number of alleged indiscretions, including the fraudulent use of the FDA seal and voice.

This all seems like a great deal of opposition to something that is supposed to be "safe", "good for you", and that will "feed the world".

Mike Adams of Natural News gives a down-to-earth review of a study from Cell Research showing just how GMOs interact with the DNA strands of the "hosts" who ingest them. These findings illustrate just how dangerous and Life altering consumption of GMOs is. It is amazing that scientific studies show us over and over again how damaging GMOs are to the biological body, yet Monsanto and other GMO proponents remain steadfast in saying GMOs don't even need to be tested!

The Free screening of Genetic Roulette has been extended to run through November 6, 2012. You can watch the film here. Spread the word. Share the movie. This is a time in which we can all work together to bring about a very necessary and potentially Life-saving change in America! California is leading the way in the efforts to require labeling of GMOs with Proposition 37 set to be voted on November 6. If California requires GMO labeling, more states will follow. Food manufacturers using GMO ingredients and food producers will have to disclose their GMO status to consumers. Once this disclosure is in place, consumers will have the information necessary to choose how they wish to feed themselves, their families, and their pets. This will truly be a great break through in food Freedom for American citizens.

If you haven't had the time yet to catch the Free screening of "Genetic Roulette", you might want to try to make the time to do it. This screening will be over in a couple of days. The link is in the post below.

For those who were not able to access the video showing the results of the two-year study that the team of French scientists did on the health impacts of Roundup and the ingestion of GMOs, you can give it a try again here. This video was reportedly taken down from YouTube for a time, and many who tried to see it were not able to. The video in our post is still functional, so if you missed it, try it again. It is well worth watching. The response to this study (the first long-term, non-Monsanto conducted study on GMOs) has been resounding. Both Russia and Poland have banned the import of American GMO corn as a result of it.

If you are not aware of GMOs (genetically modified organisms), now is the time to learn all you can! The labeling of GMO ingredients in foods is a critical element to our health. In Europe and many other places in the world, GMO labeling is mandatory. In the U.S. it is not. Do you know what you are eating? Don't you have the right to know? A label is not cost restrictive to doing business. Disclosing the health hazards of ingesting GMOs might be. Make your own informed decisions based on facts, not propaganda.

Update....

Update....In the previous post, we shared a video disclosing the findings of the team of French scientists who did a two-year study on the health impacts of the consumption of GMO corn. Their findings were not a surprise to those of us who are aware of the dangers of GMOs to our health. However, we were shocked to find out just how damaging the GMO ingestion was. If you haven't seen the video yet, we encourage you to do so!

Since the public disclosure of the findings of this study by the French, Russia has taken the initiative to protect its people from GMO corn. The Russian government has banned all imports of GMO corn from the U.S. While this news is not good for American GMO corn farmers, it is wonderful news for the people of Russia. Unfortunately, the people of the U.S. will still be subject to the dangers of GMO corn that they are unknowingly consuming, as GMO labeling is not required and the U.S. government seems to promote GMO usage.

We hope that you were all able to watch "Genetic Roulette" over the last week. If you were not able to watch this incredible film on GMOs - or didn't get to watch all of it - you can use the links in the posts below to watch it for a small donation. We Understand that a version of the film is available on Youtube, as well.

For those who still need further proof that GMOs are a dangerous experiment played out on humanity, you might find that proof in the video below. This video is the result of a secret two-year study done by a team of scientists in France who tested 200 rats on GMO corn and Roundup. This is reportedly the first time that a study of GMO corn has been tested outside of the Monsanto labs. It is also the first time a test exceeding 90 days has been done. The results are shocking, even though they are not surprising. We agree with the French scientists in saying that a moratorium should be put on all GMO growth world-wide immediately.

It is interesting to note that in the French study, the damages from the GMO ingestion didn't really begin until around four months - after the normal testing time would have been done. It does bring a question to mind that we will pose to each of you to consider: If GMO grass that had been in place for 15 years suddenly began producing cyanide, killing all the animals who grazed on it, what are the GMOs that humans have consumed going to produce inside our bodies? Time will tell, and when it does, it will be too late.....unless we act now.

Health Alert!!!

For any of you who have used GMO grasses or grass seed, please take note of this health alert! If you or your neighbors have planted "Tifton 85" (a genetically modified form of Bermuda grass), please have your grass tested for cyanide. In central Texas, grass that has been in place for 15 years has suddenly begun to produce cyanide, which is fatal to cattle and any other creature that ingests it.
