What we would like to know is why hemp as a crop is illegal in the U.S., while we are the largest importer of hemp products in the world. What does this say about how we view our economy? What does the ban on hemp say about our intelligence as a people? Perhaps we should ask what the ban says about our government, as the people clearly want to grow hemp for the benefits of hemp - and there are many.
