For those of you who routinely visit our pages, you know that sometimes we post content that follows our "See the Need, Be the Change" thoughts. Even though these issues can be tough to watch and/or learn about, we need see them in order to change them. This is the only way in which we can change the world we live in for ourselves and those who have no human voices.
This short documentary, "Wastage", is one of those films that everyone needs to know about. We need to see it and change what we see. This video is particularly difficult for those of us who Love horses. It is simple, stark, and graphic. "Wastage" provides us with a look at what happens to horses born into the racing world who are not fast enough, profitable enough, or sustain an injury. Their plight is shocking. It is disgraceful to say the least.
We ask each of you who watches this video to share it and take action upon it if your Spirit moves you to do so. We call upon our friends, relatives, brothers, and sisters in Australia to do all you can to end this inhumane practice. Horses are people, too. We know this firsthand. They have only us to speak for them. Unless we do, they will continue to die horrible deaths - all for the sake of human greed and lack of conscience.
